RESPONSIBILITIES : Under the supervision of the Shop Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for evaluating requests for projects that involve the creation of furniture and protective equipment and will be involved in the execution of cabinetry and finishing work in the shop. SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
  • Cutting, cutting, sanding, gluing wood pieces;
  • Assemble wood pieces;
  • Prepare pieces for finishing;
  • Read summary technical drawings;
  • Maintains a record of materials, finishing products and supplies in inventory and communicates requirements to immediate supervisor;
  • Stores materials according to established procedures;
  • Inspects and maintains shop equipment;
  • Repairs furniture and decorative items;
  • Ensures that equipment is properly packaged to avoid breakage during transportation;
  • All other related tasks.
WORK SCHEDULE : The position is full time during the day, which may occasionally exceed the normal work week. Overtime is paid according to Quebec labour standards. REQUIREMENTS :
  • A diploma in carpentry, cabinet making or scenography is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of materials (wood, plastic, metal, finishing products);
  • Versatility and creativity
  • Minute;
  • Ability to assess priorities;
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform a variety of tasks.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE MASTER

Sales, Project Danagers And Design

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the sales team, the incumbent ensures the execution of sales and project load functions, planning and actively involved in the progress of various improvement projects. The ultimate and common goal is to provide an unparalleled customer experience in the rental, logistics, consulting and event design industry. KEY COMPONENTS OF THE ROLE: - Listen to the needs and advise the client on new ideas - Propose solutions adapted to the specific needs of the client - Establish and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle - Take orders, correct existing orders and produce new quotes - Follow up on pending bids to verify customer interest - Develop and manage project budgets - Produce required documents and communicate them to the planning department - Write and ensure the smooth running of installations including the management of installation teams and the client - Provide leadership to the field teams - Be in solution mode during set-up and tear-down - Collect data for post-event evaluations to generate statistics and allow for constant review - Call back clients after the event to get their comments and suggestions - Optimize internal communication between departments - Any other related tasks QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong leadership and results oriented - Autonomy and versatility - Communication skills, both oral and written (French, English) - Ability to manage concurrent projects, priorities and meet agreed upon deadlines - Ability to work in a team, to listen to activity, to be positive - Organizational skills, attention to detail - Availability and flexibility in terms of schedule - Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite - Ability to work physically WORK SCHEDULE: - Full-time schedule during the week. - Frequent overtime during peak periods

Skilled Trades (cabinet Maker, Upholsterer, Seamstress...)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Tent Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for performing paint jobs to requested specifications. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Paints parts and equipment as required by management. - Requests materials needed to complete the job from the manager. - Follows the instructions specified in the procedures of the paint supplier. - Performs grinding, cleaning, deburring to ensure cleanliness of parts. - Keeps the paint room clean. - Starts and stops the compressor - Informs the manager of any problems, defects or non-conformities. - Carries out required maintenance work. - Keeps equipment clean and in good working order. - Verifies the quality of the work performed. - Performs all other tasks required in the course of his duties. WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. From 4:00 pm to midnight. Candidate must be flexible as needed by the company.
